Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-event checks
- Assist with safe entry, exit, and queue management
- Manage conflict safely and lawfully, including ejections when necessary
- Check passes, accreditation, and tickets
- Patrol venues effectively
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and preserve crime scenes if required
- Monitor spectators for distress, overcrowding, or inappropriate behaviour and report to the on-shift supervisor
- Identify potential hazards or suspicious activity and report appropriately
- Assist with evacuation and invacuation procedures
- Enforce venue policies and procedures
- Apply relevant law and legislation to duties
- Ensure fire exits and evacuation routes are kept clear
- Maintain health and safety compliance for all stakeholders
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Valid First Aid qualification
- Professional, confident, and proactive
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied hours
